The company’s technology includes WorldsShaper, a compositing 3D building tool that integrates pre-existing or custom content; WorldsServer, a scalable software to control and operate online virtual communities; WorldsBrowser is used to access the 3D environments; WorldsPlayer that allows the users to view and experience multi-user, interactive technology; and Worlds Gamma Libraries that composes sample worlds, textures, models, avatars, actions, sensors, sounds, motion sequences, and other behaviors. Its technology is used in various applications, including virtual meeting places, 3D e-commerce stores, and virtual classrooms. The company was formerly known as Worlds.com Inc. and changed its name to Worlds Inc. in February 2011. Worlds Inc. was founded in 1994 and is based in Brookline, Massachusetts.
