Sustainable Projects Group Inc. extracts and supplies lithium compounds for the electric vehicle and battery markets. It operates through three segments: YER Brands, Sustainable Projects Group, and Lithium Harvest. The company through its Direct Lithium Extraction technology extracts and manufactures lithium compounds from oilfield wastewater. In addition, it offers lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide products in standardized and customer specific compounds formats for use in batteries. The company was formerly known as Sustainable Petroleum Group Inc. and changed its name to Sustainable Projects Group Inc. in October 2017. Sustainable Projects Group Inc. was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in Aalborg, Denmark.
